Camcloud

Camcloud is a cloud video monitoring service that supports any webcam, AXIS IP cameras or a combination of both. You do not need any software to install or hardware other than the cameras. You can enable and control the motion detection and remote monitoring with the click of a mouse from your browser. Using your Camcloud account, you have the ability to control the motion detection sensitivity, enable or disable your cameras and get email alerts.

Camcloud works using the AXIS M-10 series camera, which after setup, will automatically communicate with your Camcloud account. You will have the ability to control your cameras, watch live video feeds and also watch archive recorded video using Camcloud.

Camcloud Mobile

In addition to being able to use Camcloud on a PC or a Mac, you can also use an iPhone and an Android mobile device. You can do everything with Camcloud on your mobile devices that you can from a desktop computer.

Home Plan:

  • Up to 16 cameras.
  • Live video feed and archive costs $0.10 per day per camera.
  • Camera access can be transferred to 4 users.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 1 week costs $0.30 per day per camera.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 2 weeks costs $0.40.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 30 days, the cost is $0.50 per day per camera.
  • You can export video archive into an AVI file.
  • Email notifications are free.

Business Plan:

  • Up to 5,000 cameras.
  • Live video feed and archive costs $0.20 per day per camera.
  • Camera access can be transferred to 16 users.
  • You can extend camera access rights transfer to 5,000 users.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 1 week costs $0.30 per day per camera.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 2 weeks costs $0.40.
  • Save archive video when motion is detected for 30 days, the cost is $0.50 per day per camera.
  • You can export video archive into an AVI file.
  • Email notifications are free.
  • You can hide the Ivideon logo from the public view from $3.50 per day per camera.

Eyecast

Eyecast is a cloud based video surveillance service (CVS) with a great deal of technical information on their website. They were founded in 2008 under the original name Optical Crime Prevention, Inc and in 2010 change their name to Eyecast. They have a complete customer service department and can also install your surveillance system for a fee.

Eyecast works with analog or IP cameras, an encoder and a high speed internet connection. The encoder that is needed is the Eyecast T-400 and each encoder can connect to 4 analog video surveillance cameras. You can buy the encoders from Eyecast for the following prices:

Eyecast T-400 Encoder costs:

  • T-400 encoder cost $395 without an Eyecast service contract.
  • $150 with 1 camera and a 2-year subscription.
  • $100 using 2 cameras and a 2-year subscription.
  • $50 using 3 cameras and a 2-year subscription.
  • The T-400 encoder is free using 4 cameras and a 2-year Eyecast subscription.

Eyecast also sells many types of surveillance cameras.

Eyecast Price Plans:

Eyecast offers two types of resolution packages for both home and business accounts. You can see the difference on their Demo page. Each monthly price quoted is per camera.

Standard Resolution Package:

  • Eyecast Standard provides 7 days of storage for $7.95/month for home accounts and $8.95/month for business accounts.
  • Eyecast Standard Plus provides 14 days of storage for $10.95/month for home accounts and $11.95/month for business accounts.
  • Eyecast Standard Extended provides 30 days of storage for $13.95/month for a home account and $14.95/month for business accounts.

Premium Resolution Package:

  • Eyecast Premium provides 7 days of storage for $14.95/month for home accounts and $15.95/month for businesses.
  • Eyecast Premium Plus provides 14 days of storage for $16.95/month for the home account and $17.95/month for business accounts.
  • Eyecast Premium Extended provides 30 days of storage for $20.95/month for home accounts and $21.95/month for business accounts.

In addition to the standard listed storage options, you can also get custom storage options upon request. They also offer multi-year long-term storage durations for archiving important events.
